I Need Motivation Frederic Premji

I found Frederic's motivational site when I was searching information about motivational products.

I have to say I got quite curious about the person behind such an abundance of self help products and decided to ask Frederic for an interview. He kindly agreed, so here is an interesting interview for those of you who are interested in subliminal methods of self-help.

(If you are curious enough, the banner below the interview will take you to his site).

Hi, Frederic! We are happy you are willing to spend a few moments and answer some questions about your website.

I guess I have never seen so many motivational products on one site before. What was your motivation to set up the site ineedmotivation.com? is there perhaps some personal experience that turned you on this path of self-improvement?

Yes, about a decade ago I was a sales trainer. My job was mostly to make sure that salespeople remained on the up whenever their energy and confidence were going down. This is where I witnessed the power of motivation first hand. I could spend twenty minutes with someone that was having a horrible morning and then all of the sudden, they were a superstar in the afternoon. I knew then this was my calling. I wanted to provide everyone, not just salespeople, with similar motivational solutions, and that's why I started the site back in 2002.

You yourself must have used subliminal products for self improvement? Can you give an example of a situation that really improved as a result?

I have had insomnia issues for a long time. Subliminal and hypnosis have definitely helped me overcome that, as well as helping to study and focus. This inspired me to become a hypnotherapist myself. Although relaxing, all the courses I have a hand in creating have a lot of motivation in them. It's not just about having a positive outlook, it's about going out there and making it happen. This is why motivation is crucial and the foundation of everything in my business.

You have dozens of self-help products but surely there come situations when someone cannot find the exact thing they need. What kind of service do you offer to these people? (And if their request is sensitive, can they trust you keep it all confidential?)

Our company is absolutely 100% confidential. We cater to all kinds of people, all over the world. Whether they are a public figure or the guy next door, we treat all clients the same and this includes complete privacy. If people have trouble finding the courses best suited for their needs, they can either send us an email or call our toll free line. Our staff will gladly guide them in the right direction. I know it can be challenging for some to choose among hundreds and hundreds of titles, but we are there to help!

Many people feel quite alone with their problems – and they might benefit from some life coaching. Do you offer this kind of service?

Yes we do. We have solutions for personal life coaching, as well as business coaching. The way we do our coaching is very much hands on. We take the time to fully assess a client's situation and carve out a plan of action. Now of course, the type of coaching will vary depending on the client's needs. The way you resolve an issue with weight and diet is very different than an issue with an addiction for example.

How qualified is your coaching team to help people?

Our team is actually very young and energized! I do counsel with many experienced people in the medical, nutritional, and athletics industry, in case something falls into a category beyond my expertise. As far as coaching goes, I like hungry, motivated (of course!), and organized people on my team. This is what I look at more than age or experience. When I was 19 years old, I was the top salesperson of a 400 person sales team, most of which were older than me, with years of experience. I learned then, that age isn't a factor into achieving success and it certainly isn't one in guiding and coaching someone towards success. You do need some "intangibles" such as being able to relate to people, being able to teach and explain properly, as well as being a born leader. These are intangibles that no certification or education can teach. You either have it or you don't. Being a good coach is like being a good singer or performer. You're born with the talent, then you just have to work on perfecting that talent into a skill.

What are the most common problems people search help for?

What we see more frequently than others are issues with weight, addictions like smoking, and financial concerns. Our weight loss courses are usually our most popular titles month in and month out.

Do ordinary people usually believe in the power of their own subconscious mind? And do they believe it is possible to teach their own minds to overcome mental obstacles? (Are people keeping it a bit of a secret that they use your products?)

It's definitely not "mainstream". The thing is, most people do not believe in the power of their subconscious or conscious mind! This is why only less than 5% of people in this country are successful and happy in whatever it is that they are doing. Usually, people believe in external reasons and solutions to their problems. Being able to control all of that with your mind? That's too easy they think. Truth is, solutions are usually very simple. The vast majority of stress and anxiety issues are within the mind. These are issues that can be fixed by looking inward. Think of how many physical ailments or illnesses are caused by stress, need I say more? The good news is that it is on the upswing, more and more people are starting to believe that they can transform their situation, turn it around, and find balance and happiness within their inner psyche. As far as people keeping it a secret, I'm sure some do, but just to put it into perspective, 30% of our business is through referrals from previous clients. People are definitely sharing their good fortune with the ones they know.

Who do you think is the person who most influenced you with their positivity?

I would have to say my mother. Through thick and thin she always kept a cheerful attitude and never really let anything get to her. I've also been around many negative people in my life and the desire of not being like them was also a big influence into staying positive.

Do you like to read? What is you favorite book?

I do like to read a lot! Believe it or not I usually read a book every 1-2 days. As part of my work, I study self help of all forms, which includes books, audiotapes, seminars, etc. I am a student of the game, and I learned a long time ago that to lead a truly fulfilled life, you must always gain knowledge. So yes, I enjoy reading. My favorite book, I would have to say The Great Gatsby.

What is your favorite quote?

I love this Albert Einstein quote, "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit, a persistent one."
