You had the courage to continue with your life even though you experienced something that would have caused many people to withdraw from their normal lives.
Any accident that leaves its mark on our face is something we cannot hide - and it takes tremendous courage to go out and face the stares of other people... I am very glad you had the courage to walk out the door and teach others with your example. It is all about the attitude!

The remark about smiling with your eyes is such a pearl of wisdom. How many times you have seen someone smile so that the smile doesn´t reach the eyes? I at least don´t take that as a genuine smile at all.
But if you see someone smile with their eyes... It is such a joyful twinkle from the very soul! And THAT is the real smile!
