Thank You
by: Lorraine

Thank-you Leena. He is very special to me. He's my inspiration for all he's gone through and still gives so much love. He's my Buddy that listens to all my problems, aches and pains, & stories, then crawls in my lap and up to my neck and buries his head on my neck like a big hug. I always knew Pets grieve too but never knew they cried and never heard of a cat but several times during his grieving he had a BIG tear under his eye. I remember my mom saying he looks like he is smiling all the time and I look at him now he has that shape of mouth that does look like a big smile.
You sound like you have a special cat too. I never heard of one that will fetch a stick. I bet that is so funny to watch.
I wished I was rich I'd take in every stray I could find.
This is a great site that helps to promote awareness how special animals are and hopefully people will treat them better and reduce abuse!
Thank-you
Lorraine

What a special cat you have!
by: Leena

I had tears in my eyes when I read about the arrow - how cruel can people be?? Quiver had angels on his side: he was rescued and he got to live in a family who truly loved him.

And he sure paid (and still keeps paying) back that love. How he loved your mother was an amazing story.

And the way he plays with you, oh dear... LOL. You know one of our cats fetches a stick just like a dog. He never tires of it. We throw his stick and he runs like nuts after it and then back again, dropping the stick at your feet so you can throw it again.

I have three cats myself and they are such loving, joyful creatures. I can totally understand your wish to pay for Quiver´s expensive diet food. I would do just the same.

I wish people read your story and realize they can find a truly special friend from an animal shelter. (AND if the arrow shooter was a child, I really hope any parent who reads this takes care to tell their children they should never do such an act, ever.)

I wish you and Quiver many long, happy years together. Thank you for sharing his story!

Leena :)
