I just loved what you told about Benewah County Humaine Society - that the animals are not killed. Once in an animal forum a person who worked in a shelter told how the animals that were taken to be put down knew exactly what was going to happen and fought with all their might to escape the room... It was a heart-breaking read. I really had tears in my eyes.

I hope this page will bring some publicity to your animal shelter, and hopefully help too.
